Symptoms can include new or worsening cough, chills and fever, sore throat, decrease or loss of taste and smell, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, tiredness and sore muscles, pink eye, headache.
  • Please do not come into the flight school if a member of your household currently has COVID-19 or if you recently have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19. Vaccination Policy – Updated December 1, 2021

Effective December 1st, 2021 anyone entering any Near North Aviation facilities including all staff, students, rental pilots, charter/sightseeing flight passengers, aerial work passengers, and visitors must:

  • Show proof of full vaccination of a recommended COVID-19 vaccine (meaning 14 days since your second dose). For students and others who provide this, we will put this on your file, and you will not be asked again on your future visits.

OR;

  • Provide written documentation from a physician that sets out (i) a documented medical reason for not being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and (ii) the effective time-period for the medical reason.

Individuals who choose not to disclose their vaccination status, or who are not fully vaccinated, will not be permitted to enter the facility. Valid medical exemptions may be considered for accommodation, however, this does not guarantee all training can be completed under the exemption.

Students and visitors are responsible for ensuring a valid QR-code vaccine passport is on file with our office before your visit by sending it to info@nearnorthaviation.com. If the requirements cannot be met, we may have to forfeit your booking, and you may be charged a cancellation fee.

Our goal is to keep everyone safe and flying – we realize this is not a static situation and we may have to adjust this policy again in the future. Please connect with us directly to address any questions or concerns at 705-378-0981 or info@nearnorthaviation.com
