No, you don’t need a degree or special education to start ground school. We’ll teach you everything you need to know, step by step.

We provide all required ground school materials for purchase. Students can choose a complete kit or individual items such as textbooks, charts, rulers, plotters, and flight computers. Materials are available directly through us when you register.

You don’t need any prerequisites to join ground school. If you’re planning to move into flight training, we suggest applying for your Aviation Medical as soon as possible. You won’t need it to start lessons, but you must have it approved before you can fly solo.

We understand things come up. While classes aren’t recorded and attendance is required, let your instructor know if you need to miss a class. We’ll do our best to help you stay on track, and you’re welcome to attend future ground school cohorts to catch up on the lesson.
