Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)

The Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) program is designed for those who want to pursue a career as a pilot. Holders of a CPL may become flight instructors or obtain their Airline Transport Pilot Licence.

This program focuses on in-depth ground & flight instruction. Ground school consists of a minimum of 80 hours of in class or live-online training to prepare the student for the Transport Canada written exam.

Flight training for a commercial pilot licence consists of a minimum of 200 hours of flight instruction preparing the student for the Transport Canada flight test.

Night Rating

The Night Rating on a Private Pilot Licence allows the holder to fly during the hours of darkness under Visual Flight Rules.

VFR OTT

VFR Over-The-Top Rating

Designed for private pilots who want the ability to fly in more challenging weather situations. This training is included in all Commercial Pilot Licence programs.
